Maestro Ramón Martínez will be teaching an intensive two day seminar on the fundamental principles of the 16th and 17th century Spanish School (La Verdadera Destreza). This seminar/workshop will cover the main teachings of Don Jerónimo Sanchez De Carranza and Don Luis Pacheco De Narvaez. On Saturday single rapier will be presented. It will consist of a four hour class, with one hour at the end for corrections, questions and answers. Sunday class will include a brief review, and will focus on Rapier and Dagger.
All students must be at least 18 years old to participate. Students should come fully equipped with weapons (rapiers and daggers), gloves for each hand, a standard three-weapon jacket or equivalent commercially available protection (can be of any color except black), a three-weapon mask, long pants or knickers, gender-appropriate athletic protectors, a gorget, closed-toe shoes, and any additional protective equipment, such as a plastron and shin or elbow guards, that they deem necessary.

- Saturday class only is $90.00

- Registration fee the day of the seminar is $200.00 for Saturday & Sunday (combined)
- Saturday-only class is $125.00
- Note: Saturday class is a pre-requisite for the Sunday class.
No spectators or photography of any kind will be permitted.
